Labor Support for 3rd time Mom
Virginia “Ginna” Parent was my labor and delivery doula and provided my husband, children and specifically myself support leading up to the birth of our third child. She was very knowledgeable on all
topics of our concern. She was very supportive of the choices we made and was open and honest about pros and cons of anything we were unsure of.
The days leading up to my birth she was available at all hours of the day for me. She was responsive and caring and kind throughout the week. When it was go time she talked to us several times and allowed us to decide when we’d go to the hospital.
She laborers with me and my husband for around 5 hours and was such a loving support for myself and my husband. She cheered me on, comforted me, helped with pain and had tools and techniques that helped throughout. She was with us till we transferred to our room.
She continues to be an available for several weeks for us! She did a postpartum home visit and assisted with breastfeeding and infant care. She’s the best! We loved her and the experience even though it was our 3rd unmedicated birth!

First time Mom Birth and Postpartum Support
Jovie had the most special visitor today, her doula Ginna Parent Ginna holds such a special place in my heart. She’s been there for me in my most vulnerable moments. I cry when I think of all the ways shes been there for me before, during, and after birth. I can’t thank her enough for being exactly what I needed in the thick of postpartum (I cried about that during our time together today too). If you’re on the fence about hiring a doula, DO IT. I can’t explain the connection you feel after they help bring your baby earth side. It’s unlike any other. Thank you for being such a beautiful angel to my family, Ginna we love you.

Labor Support for 1st Time Mom
I had a very stressful and complicated experience during my pregnancy journey until I met Virginia, it was like hiring all the services I needed in one, including a trusted friend and advisor I can rely on.
I kept experiencing the worst medical service & information, I was bullied into taking tests and complying to demands that were not even legally required. After switching medical providers I ended up dropping them all together and hired a doula instead who can advocate for my needs. I wanted to things my way and this was the only way I was able to get what I wanted. Virginia was very professional and kind about educating me on the risks I was choosing to take by avoiding all interventions and at the same time was super supportive and encouraging to the choices I wanted to make.
Virginia was God sent! I couldn’t have survived my labor and delivery without her; she was the most positive support I had at the hospital. I came into the unknown prepared and confident because of her. She had coached my husband and I from the very beginning and we were super grateful to her. She was my rock, my epidural, my biggest supporter. I was able to survive long enough to have an all natural/medications free labor, delivery and postpartum recovery because of her. We are making plans already for better preparing my body now for my 2nd child that I wish to have down the road.
I am so grateful to have experienced such a positive and fearless pregnancy and birth, going against all odds.

Amy and Virginia are absolutely fantastic. They were with me every step of the way and help me make serious decisions about what I wanted to do for my labor. They were there every step of the way making me feel heard and seen… I wouldn’t change any part of my experience because of them they helped me feel like my birth was mine and even though my postpartum they have been the absolute best support team I’ve had!

100% recommend. I’m a first time mom and near the end of my pregnancy, life threw me a lot of curveballs. I had to quickly find a new doula and I’m so happy to have been connected with Virginia/Cozy Journeys. She instantly supported me, we had to make some last minute changes to the type of care I needed and there was never any hesitation. She helped me through breastfeeding challenges my first day home from the hospital and was a constant source of encouragement, support, motherly wisdom and love. My birth experience and postpartum journey were nothing I had imagined, but with her support I managed to make it through. I can’t thank her enough 💕

Ginna is so awesome. I wanted my second child's birth to be completely different than my first; I wanted it to be less stressful, more calm and more on my terms. It was perfect. She made visual aides to help me focus, taught me techniques to spin the baby and talked about ways to manage my stress in the delivery room. Her prep before baby and after baby were amazing. She even can stay overnight, which was much appreciated by this overtired mama who just needed a little time to sleep. If we hadn't moved away, I would absolutely call her again if we got pregnant (and honestly, I might anyway! LOL)

Gina is a knowledgable person that made my first pregnancy experience far less worrisome than without her. Having someone that has been through it, done all the research already, and all around great cheerleader to have in your corner is indispensable with something as important as giving birth; especially for first timers.

Virginia and Amy were the MVP’s of my labor and delivery! I even had a midwife and would say that having these two lovely ladies were my absolute favorite and most thankful part of the journey. They were so calm and helpful and knew exactly what to do right when I needed it during my labor and even before!!! Ever since I have had to opportunity to experience having a doula, I have HIGHLY recommended these two ladies to all of my pregnant friends! I could go on and on about how thankful I was for these ladies and how the advocated for me every step of the way and knew all of my demands and wishes! So thankful to have them!
