Birth Doula Services
Cozy Journeys LLC partners with Sweet Little Toes Doula Services to provide clients with a full Birth Team experience. You will meet both of us and work with us both during your pregnancy, labor, and initial postpartum journey.

As birth doulas we strive to assist all parents in each journey as they become parents for the first time or parents for the fifth. We want each birth experience to be beautiful and having a strong support system through the intimate moments of birth can make all the difference. Women feel empowered when they feel heard, respected, and cared for during their laboring experience. Partners feel comforted and confident when a doula can assure them that their loves are safe and that labor is normal at that moment. Couples feel connected and informed when doulas are able to reassure them that, even though their birth plan changed, they are completely safe and making the best decision for their family.

Meet Your Birth Doulas
Virginia Parent
I believe all families deserve to have a supported birth experience. My goal is to provide support to families through education, understanding, and without my personal bias.
As a mother of 4, I have experienced two hospital births, one which was an induction and a NICU baby; and I have experienced two midwife supported water births. I have formula fed, exclusively pumped, and exclusively breastfed. These varied experiences remind me that birth has a wide range of normal and allow me to connect with families no matter how they choose to give birth.

I began my training with DONA International then joined ProDoula, Madriella, and Still Birthday Doula Training. I have completed courses on Pregnancy Nutrition and Wellness which includes normal health and nutritional needs during pregnancy and postpartum. I am also a Newborn Care Specialist.
I am here for you through your pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and motherhood journeys.

I always knew I wanted to be involved in birth work, and as soon as I learned what a doula was, I knew it was what I was born to do. With my 4th birth, I had an incredible doula who made my birth experience wonderful for me and my family.
I became a doula in September 2019, after a friend asked me to attend her beautiful home birth. I have since attended Charis Childbirth's hands-on workshops and training program. I have been honored to attend a continuously growing number of births, including home births, birth center and hospital births, inductions, and c-sections. I recognize the importance of a doula in each of these situations, as I have personally experienced childbirth with and without a doula, and the difference speaks for itself.

As your birth doula, I look forward to getting to know you and your birth desires during our prenatal meetings. I commit to being your advocate, informant, and support person for you and your family- both emotionally
and physically.
I can assure you that I will do everything possible to help you achieve the most fulfilling birth and postpartum experience.
